Six GreenJackets make South Atlantic League All-Star Game

The Augusta GreenJackets will send six players to the South Atlantic League All-Star Game.

Those chosen to play for the Southern Division are starting pitchers Chris Stratton and Martin Agosta, reliever Tyler Mizenko, third baseman Mitch Delfino, center fielder Jesus Galindo and shortstop Matt Duffy.

Augusta’s six selections are the most in the division and tie for the league high with Hickory, West Virginia and Hagerstown.

Along with the players, GreenJackets hitting coach Hector Borg will join three Savannah coaches to make up the Southern staff.

The game will be played at Lakewood’s FirstEnergy Park in New Jersey on June 18.
