Grand slam powers GreenJackets' romp

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Mitchell Delfino hit a grand slam in the fifth inning and drove in six runs to lead the Augusta GreenJackets to a 12-1 rout of the Lexington Legends on Friday night in the opener of a four-game series.

Delfino finished 2 for 5. Jesus Galindo and Trevor Brown each had four hits for the GreenJackets, who finished with 17. Galindo scored four runs. Shayne Houck and Matthew Duffy knocked in two each.

Kendry Flores (2-0) pitched six scoreless innings to get the win, allowing three hits. He struck out four.
