Paine’s College’s Luis Serrano had seven RBI as the Lions swept a doubleheader from Shaw on Thursday.
Paine won first game 23-3 as Serrano, a senior catcher, had five RBI on two hits, including a grand slam in the third inning.
Chris Hallett picked up the win, going the distance and striking out nine.
Serrano had two more hits and two RBI in the nightcap, which Paine won 3-0. Paine starter
Jerek Wright gave up two hits and struck out seven in the complete-game victory.
Paine is 4-6.
