In Aiken, two Carson-Newman pitched combined to limit USC Aiken to six hits in an 8-0 victory over the Pacers on Friday.

It was the first loss of the season for the Pacers (3-1), who are ranked fifth in NCAA Division II.
Carson-Newman (3-2) had 11 hits – all singles except for Zach Long’s double.

USC Aiken freshman Tyler Moore led the Pacers with two hits.
