GreenJackets fall to RiverDogs

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston RiverDogs wiped out an early Augusta lead and went on to beat the GreenJackets 3-1 Thursday night in the opener of a four-game series.

The GreenJackets scored first on an RBI groundout by Devin Harris in the top of the first.

The RiverDogs tied it in the third on Ben Gamel’s sacrifice fly and took a 2-1 lead in the fourth on Ali Castillo’s sacrifice fly.

Saxon Butler homered in the eighth inning for the RiverDogs to make it 3-1.
