GreenJackets lose wild one

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Augusta GreenJackets erased a seven-run deficit during their game against the Asheville Tourists on Saturday night before falling 12-10.

The GreenJackets have now lost four in a row, seven of their past eight and are just 1-5 on this road trip.

Augusta starter Edwin Escobar didn’t survive the third, giving up eight runs – five earned – on seven hits and a pair of walks in 2.1 innings, which equaled his shortest start of the year.

The GreenJackets will try to avoid the series sweep on Sunday with Joseph Biagini (0-3, 7.17) taking the mound against Asheville's Chris Jensen (5-2, 5.26)
