FEB. 25: Augusta West Rotary Club and outdoorsmen from across the CSRA are teaming up again to raise money for Alzheimer’s and the Augusta Warrior Project by organizing the region’s largest wild-game tasting event – Taste of Something Wild. Volunteers will hold the 10th annual wild game soiree at the Julian Smith Casino Barbecue Pit on Milledge Road from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Menu items include venison, wild pig, fish, quail and several types of exotic meat.
