Blaire Egardo scored five points in the final 29 seconds as the Augusta State women snapped two long losing streaks tonight with a 51-44 win over UNC Pembroke at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The Lady Jaguars (7-14, 1-12) broke a 12-game losing streak this season. Also, Augusta State snapped a 41-game conference losing streak dating back to January 2009.
Jarquella Woods scored a game-high 17 points for the Lady Jaguars, while Egardo added 12.
