Entrants must be members of the Fish for Life Foundation to compete. First-place prize is guaranteed $2,000. Ten places will be paid regardless of how many boats enter. Fort Gordon Sportsman’s Club

Schedule (all at Butler Reservoir unless otherwise noted): Oct. 20, crappie tournament, safe light until noon. Nov. 3, bass tournament, safe light until noon. Dec. 8, bass tournament, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per non-member, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place.
