Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan says he will speak to the NFL about an incident in which a game official allegedly directed profane words at left tackle Trent Williams.
Shanahan said Monday he’s “disappointed” over the incident and added: “You just can’t use that type of language to get your point across.”
Williams says he was called vulgar names by official No. 81, umpire Roy Ellison.

BRONCOS: Safety Rahim Moore underwent emergency surgery to staunch bleeding in the muscle sheath in his lower left leg, a condition known as lateral compartment syndrome that can cost patients a limb or even their life.
BILLS: An unruly fan who survived a fall from the top deck of Ralph Wilson Stadium onto a man below has been banned from the stadium and could face charges, officials said Monday.
Video from Sunday’s game shows the fan sliding down the 300 level railing in a seated position before flipping backward and plummeting about 30 feet.
He and the man he landed on suffered minor injuries.
