Jacoby Ford expected to play for Oakland against San Diego

Oakland wide receiver Jacoby Ford made it through a third consecutive practice without any setbacks and expects to play in the Raiders’ regular-season finale against San Diego.

That would be a big boost to the Raiders, who need to beat the Chargers on Sunday to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The ex-Clemson star hasn’t played since injuring his left foot in Oakland’s 24-17 win in San Diego on Nov. 10.

COWBOYS: Quarterback Tony Romo was limited in practice Friday for the third consecutive day, but he is officially listed as probable to play against the New York Giants for the NFC East title on Sunday night.

“He’s going to be playing at full strength,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on KRLD-FM Friday morning. “It’s just a very big-time feel-good to know that we’re going to be going in with this kind of quarterbacking. He’s had an outstanding year.”

TEXANS: Star receiver Andre Johnson will play against Tennessee on Sunday after missing the past three games because of a strained left hamstring.

FINES: Arizona defensive tackle Darnell Dockett has been fined $15,000 by the NFL for hitting Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton below the knees last weekend and another $15,000 for a horse-collar tackle on Bengals running back Bernard Scott.

• Washington safety Reed Doughty and Atlanta linebacker Curtis Lofton were both fined $15,000 for hits.
