Woods misses cut at Quail Hollow

In his second tournament of the year, Tiger Woods shot 79 today in the second round of the Quail Hollow Championship and missed the cut.

The world's No. 1 player, Woods needed to make up ground after an opening 74. But he had difficulty finding the fairway and shot 7-over-par 43 on the back nine.

The missed cut is his first since the 2009 British Open.
