Tiger practices at Augusta National

Tiger Woods spent Monday practicing at Augusta National Golf Club, The Augusta Chronicle confirmed Monday night.

No other details about his visit, or how long he will be in town, were available.

Woods announced last week that he would return to competition at the Masters Tournament after a sex scandal that has kept him away from the game for more than four months.

The four-time Masters winner granted his first interviews Sunday to The Golf Channel and ESPN. He said he wasn't sure what to expect when he returns to the Masters, which will be held April 8-11.

"I'm a little nervous about that to be honest with you," Woods told ESPN. "It would be nice to hear a couple claps here and there. But also hope they clap for birdies, too."
