MACON, Ga. --- Augusta State did all it could Sunday to try and win its second consecutive Brickyard Collegiate title.
The Jaguars shot 13-under-par in the final round, easily the best team round of the tournament, but it wasn't enough to catch the Georgia Bulldogs, who held on to win by one stroke.
"I can't say enough about the way we played," Augusta State coach Josh Gregory said. "I thought we were outstanding. To have five guys shoot par or better in the last day of a tournament just shows what kind of team we have."
