STILLWATER, Okla. — Freshman swingman Le’Bryan Nash scored a career-high 27 points, Brian Williams added a career-best 22 and Oklahoma State knocked off No. 2 Missouri 79-72 on Wednesday night.
Nash, a McDonald’s All-American, scored 13 points during a 17-4 burst that sent the Cowboys (10-10, 3-4) into the lead in the final 4 minutes and the Tigers (18-2, 5-2 Big 12) didn’t have a response.
Ricardo Ratliffe had 25 points to lead Missouri.

In Columbus, Ohio, Jared Sullinger had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Ohio State (18-3, 6-2 Big Ten) took advantage of Penn State’s slow start to roll to a victory.
The Nittany Lions (10-12, 2-7) paid tribute to Joe Paterno by wearing black bands on their jerseys. Paterno died Sunday.

In College Park, Md., Mason Plumlee scored 23 points, and Duke averted its first losing streak of the season.
Seeking to rebound from a rare home loss, the Blue Devils (17-3, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) trailed 47-46 with 12:54 left but outscored Maryland 28-14 the rest of the way.
Terrell Stoglin scored 16 for the Terrapins (12-7, 2-3).

In Winston-Salem, N.C., Michael Snaer had 18 points and Florida State (14-6, 5-1 ACC) beat Wake Forest (11-9, 2-4) for its fifth consecutive conference win.
The ACC co-leaders shot nearly 51 percent, led the entire second half and broke the game open with an 18-2 run.

In Columbia, Bruce Ellington’s driving basket with 1.4 seconds left lifted South Carolina to its first SEC victory this season.
Ellington dribbled down the lane, split defenders Levi Randolph and JaMychal Green to bank in the game-winner for South Carolina (9-10, 1-4). Malik Cooke had 18 points for the Gamecocks.
Green caught the inbounds pass on Alabama’s final possession, but his turnaround jumper was short. The Crimson Tide (13-7, 2-4) lost their fourth consecutive game.
LOUISVILLE 84, VILLANOVA 74
In Louisville, Ky., Peyton Siva scored 16 points and Louisville (16-5, 4-4) beat Villanova (10-11, 3-6) to return to .500 in the Big East after a rough start to conference play.
