Clemson plays three of its next four games on the road: at Boston College (Oct. 18), at Wake Forest (Nov. 6) and at Georgia Tech (Nov. 15). The team’s last home ACC game comes against Syracuse (Oct. 25).

The Tigers start the season Aug. 30 at Georgia. They play rival South Carolina on Nov. 29.

GEORGIA: Is set to hire South Alabama defensive coordinator Kevin Sherrer to its defensive staff, a source said.

Sherrer could be line to coach one of the linebacker positions for the Bulldogs.

Neither South Alabama nor Georgia confirmed the hire, but South Alabama coach Joey Jones told the Mobile (Ala.) Register that Sherrer and Georgia had talked about a position.
