Jags' Brandt finishes 67th in nationals

In Spokane, Wash., Georgia Regents’ men’s cross country team finished 31st at the NCAA Championships. Senior Jaiden Brandt finished 67th to lead the Jaguars in the10K at Plantes Ferry Athletic Complex.

It was the Jaguars’ first appearance in the championship.

Brandt had a time of 31:44.5. Senior Dustin Ross finished 165th in 33:05.7, sophomore Preston Jones took 207th in 33:49.1, junior Shane Huckeba finished in 34:16.0 for 220th and freshman Nick Del Guercio finished 232nd in 34:38.4, senior Adam Aldridge was 234th in 35:09.3 and Matt Johnson was 238th with 35:21.8.

Tabor Stevens led Adams State to its fifth title in the past six years, winning the race in a time of 29:50.1.
