The Big Idea: Redevelop vacant riverfront land into an arts and entertainment center

Cost: $80 million private, $30 million public

Details: Build a 2,000-seat symphony hall, build a 40,000 square foot Morris art museum, create a new riverfront boat basin amphitheater, develop an art/fountain plaza on Reynolds Street opposite the Augusta Common

Time: 10 to 15 years

Champions: Morris Museum, Augusta Arts Council
