Stephen Carmon, SS, USC Aiken

Marty Gantt, OF, College of Charleston/North Augusta High School
Known for his pitching in high school, Gantt converted to outfield in college and has found plenty of success at the plate. Brandon Love, P, Mercer/Burke County High School
The 22-year-old, left-handed pitcher went 7-3 with a 3.36 ERA in 16 starts for Mercer. He led Burke County to the second round of the Class AAA state playoffs in 2008 with a 7-2 record and 1.21 ERA as a senior.

Description

The 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Players' Draft will begin Monday, June 4 in Secaucus, NJ. with the first round at 7 p.m. Rounds 2-15 will run Tuesday starting at noon, and the remaining rounds will take place Wednesday at noon.
