Williams, 65, has fought the VA for 2 12 to get disability for total hearing loss, but because the department lost his file, his case has been dropped. The American Bar Association, in close coordination with the Department of Veterans Affairs, has started an assistance network to provide unrepresented veterans with pending claims the opportunity to work with lawyers.
