The regatta is part of North Augusta High School's AP Physics class. Students had to design and build a boat using specific materials like cardboard and duct tape. They then had to race each other by paddling their boat from one side of a pool to the other. The goal of the competition is to see who's boat can survive in the water without toppling and who can get to the other side of the pool the fastest.
