Story Summary: November 2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC. The design of the memoral, a simple black granite "V" engraved with the names of more than 58,000 American soldiers killed in action, was controversional when first proposed. It sits in stark contrast to the white marble of the nearby Lincoln and Washington memorials. In honor of the event, former soldiers and their families came from all over the country to pay homage to and remember their fallen bretheren. In this photo, Decorated Vietnam War veteran Clifford Hull pauses at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial during a trip he and other area veterans took to Washington DC courtesy of the Vets To Washington Project to commemorate the Memorial's 30th anniversary November 11, 2012.
