  OVERVIEW
Our Routes

The Augusta Chronicle presents a series on the throughfares of the area.

The first of the area roads we will examine is Wrightsboro Road, which extends from the heart of Augusta's inner-city through the Hill area, by the Augusta mall and into Grovetown in Columbia County before ending in McDuffie County in the tiny, rural originally Quaker community know as Wrightboro.

We begin with a look at the history of Wrightboro Road and how it has changed over the years.
