Dracula: The Un-Dead , a sequel to Bram Stoker's Dracula , will be discussed by author Dacre Stoker, a Dracula historian and direct descendant of Bram Stoker.

Host families

Northwest Services Peace Program is looking for host families for foreign exchange students.

Students are 15 to 18 years old, speak English well, are insured and bring their own spending money. They will arrive shortly before the beginning of the school year and return home at the end.

Families can select students from applications, photos and essays. All family types are acceptable.

Lofty tour

The Historic Augusta two-day Loft Tour will take place Friday and Saturday.

The tour includes lofts over a Broad Street tattoo parlor, in Enterprise Mill and Imperial Theatre.

Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 during the tour. Advance tickets can be purchased from Mellow Mushroom, New Moon Cafe, Sheehan's Irish Pub and Historic Augusta.

Dig it

The Augusta Museum of History will celebrate Archaeology Month on Saturday with primitive-weapon displays and local historic artifact collections on display at Ezekiel Harris House, 1822 Broad St. Children can enjoy flint knapping, and visitors can take guided tours of the house.

In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Augusta Museum of History. Admission is free.

Jazzing it up

Candlelight Jazz Concert Series will be 8 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays, rain or shine, at Riverwalk, 2 Eighth St. Guests are invited to bring their chairs and food.

Glenn Hills High School Jazz will perform Sunday and Burke County High School Jazz will preform May 16.
