Dance performance

Holiday light-up

The Augusta Chronicle Christmas Light-Up Spectacular will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday in downtown Augusta with Mayor Deke Copenhaver "throwing the lights," which will cover about 400 utility poles along Broad Street and Laney-Walker Boulevard. Fireworks will follow. Visit www.augustadown

Hanukkah concert

A Hanukkah concert featuring The Robyn Helzner Trio will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Congregation Children of Israel Walton Way Temple, 3005 Walton Way. Christmas concert

The Augusta Chorale will present its Christmas concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel at Paine College, 1235 15th St. The concert will feature Handel's Messiah and mark Phyllis W. Anderson's debut as artistic director for the 60-voice group. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for students.
