After spending a couple of years working in Public Relations, I transferred to the University of Georgia to major in journalism.
While there, I worked a full time job and worked an internship at the Athens paper while taking classes. After 2 1/2 years, my schedule was too much and I transferred back to Augusta where I graduated with my degree in Journalism.
I love my job and look forward to where it takes me every day. I get to meet wonderful people and tell their great stories.
I also love to read. In fact, I love just going to the book store. I collect children's books and completely enjoyed Harry Potter.
I am the oldest of six children. We are all very close, even though they no longer live in Augusta. My local family consists of my dad, Bill Lohr, my dog Penny and Jasmine, an orange tabby cat.
