MONDAY: CSRA Fly Fishers will meet at 7 p.m. at River Island Community Clubhouse. Kevin Howell of Davidson River Outfitters will speak about fly fishing in the Brevard, N.C., area. For more information, go to www.csraflyfishers.org.

NOV. 7-8: Fripp Island Marina will play host to the Owen Perry Memorial Inshore Fishing Tournament, which will award 50 percent of the payout to the anglers and 50 to Camp Rainbow for kids with cancer and rare blood diseases. Awards will be given for first and second place for the largest bass and largest trout, first-place bass with the most spots and first-place other species. NOV. 15: Hill's Landing on the Diversion Canal in Cross, S.C., will play host to its sixth annual "Big Cat" Catfish Tournament. For more information, call Jamie Courtney (843) 753-2731.
