Protests of election, inauguration are an abomination

In 1870 the 15th Amendment gave all free men the right to vote. Fifty years later, the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote.

Fast-forward to World War II. Armed with only an education of anywhere from eighth to 12th grade, American women contributed to America’s victory by playing a significant role in breaking some of Japan’s toughest top-secret encryptions or codes.

In 1972 the U.S. men’s Olympic basketball team was poised to win the gold medal. However, via obvious chicanery and foul play, the Soviet Union’s team won the gold-medal game, causing a U.S. protest by refusing to accept their individual silver medals.

Fast-forward to November 2016 and January 2017, and the election and inauguration of Donald Trump. Democrats lost, so they took to the streets destroying property; disrupting and disturbing the public peace; and committing numerous felonies. Why? Because Hillary Clinton was not elected.

In between heartbeats, Donald Trump, a public figure of 40 years who has received numerous awards for his personal humanitarian efforts and promoting diversity, became some evil monster.

President Obama tried to influence the elections of Israel and Brexit, not to mention many other countries’ elections. Each time he lost.

Now we have complaints and allegations of Russia trying to influence the Clinton-Trump contest. So? Muslim nations contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to Clinton’s campaign, and the point is?

The American media harangued and lied about Trump regularly in an attempt to influence the election. CNN gave Clinton debate questions in advance. The Democratic National Committee rigged the primary contest for Clinton as proved by emails. Shall I mention the Phoenix tarmac summit or save it for another column? What about people being paid to incite violence at several Trump rallies?

Clinton attended law school at Yale University. Presumably she studied the U.S. Constitution. She should know that electoral votes determines the president-elect. However, she spent an inordinate amount of time campaigning in California and New York. We all know she was there to collect millions of dollars from the country-club liberal elite.

Trump competed for votes in states, particularly swing states, because he knew that he needed electoral votes. Clinton relied on the popular vote, and President Obama telling illegal aliens to go vote and they will not be punished. For those who claim that Clinton won the popular vote, perhaps she did. But fraud was proved in Detroit and in Virginia, and who knows how many other illegal ballots were cast and counted?

Fast-forward to this past Jan. 20, and the most pathetic display of barbarism, stupidity, ignorance and hate from Democrats. More than five-dozen Democrats refused to attend the inauguration out of protest. These are members of Congress, mind you. How infantile. What if 60-plus Republican Members refused to attend the 2009 and/or the 2013 inaugurations, claiming that Obama was not legitimate?

That day there were childish tantrums on display by protesters. We all saw it on television.

A writer for the NBC program Saturday Night Live tweeted that 10-year-old Barron Trump would be America’s first “homeschool shooter.”

Trump won, but, since the left did not get what it wants, it destroyed cars and businesses in Washington, D.C. Perhaps Republicans should act in a similar fashion when they do not like an outcome. We’ll see how the left likes it. Then again, if Republicans did act that way, they would be Democrats.

The day after the inauguration presented some of the most stupid, inane utterances and behaviors seen ever before. Hollywood attention-seekers littering America’s capital called for violence, wrapped in the theme of a women’s march. How so?

Democratic U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer babbled during his inaugural prime-time spotlight in which he introduced U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas about “gender identity” (in addition to fighting to the death, a veiled threat of his legislative tactics to come). So how can there be a women’s march when there are those struggling with whether they have an XX or an XY chromosomal arrangement?

Either way, that was not a women’s march. It was wretched and an embarrassment, and nothing synonymous with any woman I know.

A protest is what the 1972 U.S. men’s basketball team did. A peaceful march and protest is what the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. did, numerous times. What the left did was just an abomination and a reflection of today’s dumbed-down trophy-for-all leftist society.
