Letter: Don’t advertise it

As a father of two daughters and having been happily married for 51 plus years, I frankly didn’t get the message of “Dress in Black Solidarity” movement.

This was supposed to show a united front against sexual harassment in the movie industry and elsewhere. What it showed was how low supposedly adult female decorum has slipped in this country. In many cases, their fronts were not united; breasts hanging out, and in other dresses more body exposed than in many bathing suits.

Harvey Weinstein’s and others’ actions are totally wrong; “you do this, and you get the job or promotion.” However, if you don’t want the product used, don’t advertise!
