Letter: Of prayers, flags, anthems

The U.S. flag is a symbol of our freedom in honor of the men and women who gave their lives for us – not just in death; many have suffered the loss of families and homes.

Hang that flag high and place your hand over your heart. Feel the words of our National Anthem, and not just say them.

Be loud and proud of who we are.

What life do children have without God? How can they, without prayer?

Regardless of who is in the White House, our president needs all the prayers he can get.
