Regency a perfect spot

I have been reading where the search committee for the relocation of the James Brown Arena has submitted a recommendation that the Regency Mall’s location be considered for the building of the arena.

I was the last maintenance supervisor for the Regency Mall prior to its closing. The location, in my opinion, would be an ideal location for the new arena.

There are 800.000 square feet of mall in play, not to mention adequate parking and lighting that is already on site and computer-operated.

Just think, if the plan is approved, of all the perks you get: give the sheriff’s department a spot for a substation, and the marshall’s office too. It was done when the mall was opened. Sherriff Roundtree and I both worked there, he in security and me in maintenance. By the way, the soil is OK too; it’s a former chalk bed.

Just so you know, there are perhaps two alligators that have taken up residence in the two retention ponds on the property now, and many snakes too. I am availiable for further contact. Good luck!
