How can you support Trump?

This letter is directed at the voters who continue to believe that Trump is the great leader of this country and the world. The letter is directed at his base, which cheers the white supremacists, the neo-Nazis and the KKK.

As a great jurist once said during the McCarthy era, “have you no shame?” Do you think America will be respected when your supremacist friends holler out “Jews will not replace us”?

Do you realize thousands of Americans, possibly your relatives, died in a war to rid the world of the Nazis who gassed 6 million people and burned them to death? Is this what you want for America? Are these the good people that Trump equates with morality?

Don’t you see that Trump puts the white supremacists, including David Duke, in the same category as good people?

The tragedy in Charlottesville should awaken you to the fact that you are supporting racism and fascism, which cannot work in our great country. Millions of Americans oppose your supremacist friends and the minority-elected president. We know he is unbalanced, inept, scared of democratic principles and afraid of his reputation being trashed. He is depending on you to help him degrade democracy.

Wake up to realize that Trump is not a great leader, but a stubborn man who would rather commit our country to dictatorship than hurt his standing among white supremacists, neo-Nazis and the KKK. How can you support that?
