Epitome of public servant

I have known Gary Bunker five years, having met him at an Aiken Sertoma Club meeting.

I’m not sure how he finds the time to volunteer for Sertoma’s variety of fundraising events, but it is just another way he demonstrates his dedication to the Aiken community.

Gary and I have had many discussions on city, county, state and federal issues. He has the rare ability to understand the minute details of legislation without losing sight of the “big picture.”

Gary is the epitome of the public servant. Aside from family and church, Gary lives and breathes community service. He is a policy wonk, in the finest meaning of the term, and has demonstrated leadership ability, and is a perfect match for Aiken as county chairman.
