The news media latch onto something extreme — or, by repeating it, make it appear to be extreme — and continue to report it like making smoke and looking for a fire.
It is difficult to listen to the news now without the words “Russian meddling” coming up.
One definition of meddling is: “interfere in or busy oneself unduly with something that is not one’s concern.”
It was reported that Trump accepted Putin’s denial of Russian hacking. Our former governor and current U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley stated, “everyone knows Russia meddled in our election.”
My question is and has been: If there was meddling in our election, what was it? If Russia did it, what did they do or attempt to do? Did Russia want Hillary to win the election so they could continue the easy ride in gobbling up weak countries or watch red lines being erased as they did during Obama’s terms in office? Or did they want Trump to win so they could watch our liberal crybabies shedding tears and get our news media’s attention away from Russian efforts to expand their country?
What was the meddling if there was meddling? Can anyone answer that?
