What about dying babies?

  • Follow Letters

The Augusta Chronicle’s front-page article “Another way out?” (June 22) told of Augusta Animal Services officials seeking a location in Massachusetts where they could send unwanted dogs for reposition. Many readers must have been shocked to learn that the shelter euthanized 6,500 animals last year. What a shame!

Reading that article with its references to “kill shelters” immediately brought to mind the two baby-killing centers in Augusta, euphemistically calling themselves Planned Parenthood, where huge numbers of human beings are killed every year. The actual numbers are not made public because a significant percentage are killed chemically. At Planned Parenthood it always is a human baby being killed. In a civilized society, all life must be morally and ethically protected from conception to natural death.

Most Americans are unaware that those of us who pay taxes are helping fund Planned Parenthood’s abortion mills nationwide. President Obama has been supporting abortion worldwide over the past six years and giving our money to Planned Parenthood. Statistics for the past two years reveal that Planned Parenthood support approached $1.5 million daily. That’s more than $540 million a year. Those figures do not include the money contributed to international abortion.

The public needs to know the holocaust perpetrated by “King Herod” Obama against many millions of innocents during his short reign. Liberals who voted for this monster, including many so-called Christians, tout Obama as one who is interested in promoting the common good. Go figure!

Here’s hoping The Chronicle promptly will do an exposé on abortion to demonstrate that they consider the killing of innocent babies as important or more important than the killing of dogs.

Let’s show that we love babies more than we love dogs.

a child's dna isn't biologically bonafide

unless a liberal mother approves of its existence
the "junior god" that controls the uterus
who decides when life can be ended
and how it is released from its womb, dead or alive
but in the real world, independent of human perceptions,
at the creation of the new original dna,
from male and female dna both previously created,
is the working miracle of new life begun
and abortion ends a human life

From the point of conception,

From the point of conception, the only thing missing is "time". It is just as much a human being before birth as it is after birth. Just as a child grow and changes daily after birth so does a child grow and change in the womb.

Yeah, people like Vern Simon

Yeah, people like Vern Simon loves babies.

How many children born to unwed mothers would Mr. Simon like to support?

But the part about how babies are killed chemically- that is an out and out lie.

Plan B drugs do not kill babies. All they are is a concentrated dose of hormones to make it so that an egg cannot implant into the uterus.

Birth control pills do the same thing.

Why are people ok with birth control pills but not Plan B?

Why do people continue to

Why do people continue to claim that federal funds pay for abortions when we know that is not so?

http://www.factcheck.org/2011/04/planned-parenthood/

The letter writer might want to adopt Sen. John Kyl's response when he made a similar claim: "[h]is remark was not intended to be a factual statement..."

Excellent Letter

The debate will continue until the good Lord calls His people home. As hard as i try, I can't argue someone into believing that abortion is murder. They choose to believe it is the best for the mother, with no respect of the unborn baby. Unless the Holy Spirit opens their eyes, they will continue to be blinded.

We can't feed our own?

Don't worry about the lives of American babies, if they aren't aborted we might have to feed and clothe them. What a bunch of crock.
The 50,000 plus coming across our southern border, and that were not aborted or taken care of at home, will be fed, clothed, housed here (thank GOD).... but we are so uncaring about our own....

As a Christian I am "Pro-repsonsibility" God's plan is for one woman and one man to marry for one lifetime and then have children. The argument is for those that don't follow God's design and choose to have sex outside of marriage and to be able remove the consequences of one sin by committing another sin. Imagine a world where people followed God's plan. Of course man has never done this so he continues to try to escape the effect of sin.

.
Allow me to editorialize.. Let me point out that it is not against the law to have an SOME abortions, currently.

And further, if you have higher standards than many of your friends, you probably believe that to have an abortion strictly because you're are too lazy or "carefree" to practice a more logical form of birth control could be construed to be

.......against MORAL LAW.

Less...

all Mr. Vernon wants is for the procedure to go underground. there have been actual gains in preventing abortion by the promotion of birth control, yet so many want their cake and eat it too. If passing or rescinding a law were a panacea for the problem addressed, the argument might have some legs, but it doesn't. Like the oldest profession on earth, some things will always be with us, let us at least do due diligence to have LESS.

ABORTION
Unpublished

I'm personally opposed to abortion. It however is mostly legal in this country and until it's changed that will remain the case. I do find it strange that people opposed to abortion have absolutely no problem with capitol punishment. I remain in favor of capitol punishment and believe that God will and should be the judge of the woman's decision.

Thought this was a letter about the children fleeing death and murder in Mexico/Central America.

Apparently the Christers like fetuses, but can only look the other way when a live child of a different race or religion asks for help. Probably all that cash they throw in the collection plate to 'save' new Christers of their own franchise makes it hard to keep Netflix AND be compassionate where there's no promise of Get Into Heaven Free brownie points for converting heathens to the True Believerhood, especially if the children are of the wrong True Believerhood...
