Back these conservatives

What do Lee Bright, Richard Cash, Bill Connor and Nancy Mace have in common? They are four decent, true conservatives who are seeking to unseat U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in the June 10 Republican primary.

While collectively they don’t have the millions of dollars that Graham will lavish on this race, they do share some positive characteristics: None of them have spent 20 years inside the Beltway; none of them have been co-opted by the Washington, D.C,. establishment; and none of them are subservient tools of the Obama administration.

Voters interested in what real conservative candidates for U.S. Senate look like should check out their websites. What is most surprising is that Bright, Cash, Connor and Mace are not particularly extreme.

Instead, they bear strong resemblance politically to former U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, a greatly popular and widely respected political figure. None of them will cozy up to Hillary Clinton, John Kerry or Barack Obama.

The voters have a real choice in the Republican primary. They either can vote for Graham – as always a tired and uninspiring pick – or they can take the plunge with one of these exciting and solidly conservative challengers. For any red-blooded conservative, this shouldn’t be a tough call.

Aiken, S.C.

There are too many running against him. The vote will get split and Graham will win.

never saw a conflict abroad that he didn't want to spend American blood and treasure on. Send Lisping Lindsey back home where he can host afternoon tea socials and go antiquing with the red hat society.

We need to get rid of the moron Clyburn he is an embarrassment to SC but then Pelosi would not have him to follow her around like a puppy.

Which of these guys would resist foreign adventurism most?

That's who I'd go with, and in my view, it's the single largest reason why Graham needs to be voted out.

"What do Lee Bright, Richard Cash,

What they have in common is that virtually no one has ever heard of them. Let's see what their true credentials are and then... maybe, just maybe...

Having not been to DC, they wouldn't have been would they?

Man! Talk about damning with feint praise!

Still, I have a strong and bad taste in my mouth for the likes of Lindsey! Let's hope one of his challengers has the moxie, the money and the momentum to push him aside in the primary.

If not, then I'll say it again for our friend TM. In the general election, rational, thinking people who care will vote for Graham.

He's too friendly with those who would take our freedom, but he's not yet one of them as any Democrat certainly is. If we can't get rid of him in the primary, then it's in our best interest to keep him!

Graham (like John McCain) is a know-it-all maverick who often steps on conservative values. With any Democrat, you get stepped on 100% of the time.

They are virtually ALL Marxist leaning lemmings! None of whom are able to think and act for themselves.

Possible !

I would like to see a run-off between Senator Lee Bright and Richard Cash. Sen Bright already is known as a stalwart conservative in the SC State Senate. It is possible for Lindsey to get squeezed out of a run-off if these others keep making noise.

Graham was also thought to be a

"stalwart" conservative. For a while there, he and Charlie Norwood were joined at the hip. Then Lindsey began to turn.

Sure, defeat Graham. Let's

Sure, defeat Graham. Let's have SC give up their seniority in the Senate, boy, that'll do wonders for SC!

People have short memories, about how things changed after Strom Thurmond died. Strom had power up the ying yang, and it's never been the same since.
