Socialist agenda afoot

  • Follow Letters

People who get upset about those of us who criticize the Obama administration are missing the point.

Make no mistake: Before leaving office, our president wants to turn this country irreversibly toward socialism. He made this clear when he said he would fundamentally transform this country.

Look at where he’s spent his political capital. Instead of concentrating on our economy and jobs when he had control of Congress, he passed the Affordable Care Act without a single Republican vote. He’s almost doubled our nation’s debt, increasing the future tax burden on all of us. His policies have significantly contributed to the number of people living in poverty and receiving welfare. He has instigated a dysfunctional Congress with his negative tactics. He has used class warfare to divide the nation. He’s pushing for strict gun controls.

If it were up to him, Fox News and other conservative, but balanced, news agencies would not exist. The Internal Revenue Service scandal is all about silencing conservative voices – and he told Bill O’Reilly that it’s Fox’s fault the IRS scandal was even an issue, and there’s not a smidgen of evidence of corruption. This, while there are several investigations still in progress.

Obama has used executive orders to bypass the Constitution more than any president before him. He has reduced our military and is pushing for more, causing the entire world to be nervous. So much is being made of his inept foreign policy regarding Iraq, Syria and Russia, and the mistakes he has made reducing U.S. influence, but he doesn’t care. It’s not important to him. Rather, it’s a welcome distraction that takes our attention off the items on his socialistic agenda, such as the problematic Affordable Care Act.

For more than 200 years, this country has been the greatest on Earth, and unless you feel socialism is better for our children, please think before you vote!

uh-oh, looks like a sheeple

uh-oh, looks like a sheeple got rattled already this morning!! yeah, it is probably much like other letters pointing out the truth of this current administration in washington, and if the truth hurts, darlin', well, too bad for that. those that don't hold with this current administration are pretty tired of reading the same old same old liberal crap from sheeples like greenbaum and others like him, the same lies that come out of their mouth as comes out of the mouths of their so-called leaders, who aren't really leaders at all but despots dressed up as real people, trying to convince those with lesser minds that they're really on their side and want the best of the best for them. horse hockey! i am sure it's a great comfort to all the 'working' people that the liberal doctor is worried about them and theirs as he sits in his ivory tower along the river and hands out his decrees of what he apparently, firmly, believes is the truth. one must wonder, since we are treated every month to his diatribes, whether or not he has some kind of standing contract with the paper to automatically print his diarrheic dribblings, but then, i have learned to simply ignore anything in the paper with his name attached, as i have a few others as well. wise words are in this wise book that's been around for awhile, something to the effect of not listening to the words of a fool or consorting with folks of dubious repute.

Something worse than socialism is happening.

If you can stand to read Noam Chomsky, you should see what he has to say about what he calls neo-feudalism. The middle class is disappearing by design, as common people are constantly bilked by the banks, and moneyed interests are keeping us conditioned through mass media to perpetuate the plan. Why else would we be asked to support Ukraine's association with the EU and its attendant IMF-imposed austerity, when Russia is actually experiencing economic growth and retains vast untapped potential?

Bilked by the banks and moneyed interests? LOL, could we say bilked be Obama and the federal government? "You can keep your health insurance period!" " Can keep your doctor, period! ". I have yet to be bilked by a bank. My mortgage is paid oft, as are my credit cards. The feds fleece me much more than any bank ever did. Waste money, the IRS lost over $60 million Obama care funds, billions wasted on green energy, military programs that are nuts, welfare spendong to the point that some folks recieve the equivelant of $50 thousand dollar / year job on welfar and you worry about banks?

Owensjef is doing the typical Saul Alinsky tactic; if you can't refute the message, attack the messenger. Demean, Discredit and defame any way possible!!

Even many moderate leftists are taking away their support for this President!! Because they can see that he is using the Constitution as a doormat or urinal!!

If there wasn't a "smidgen" of corruption, what is the purpose in Lois Lerner taking the 5th?

If there is no corruption, what could she possibly say that could incriminate her? Since there is no corruption, why doesn't she talk? These are VERY SIMPLE questions and any reasonable leftist should understand that.

Oooh, is that why 292 Conservative groups were targeted, and only like 10 leftist groups? Oooh, and most of the left leaning groups only came out AFTER the conservative targeting mess. Diversion anyone? Not to mention, they were "targeted" AFTER the election!!

Yes, only in a LEFTISTS mind, could this be fair!!

Oh, let's not forget that the IRS apologized for their "targeting" of conservatives. But as owens would like people to believe, "Nothing to see here".

"People who get upset about

"People who get upset about those of us who criticize the Obama administration are missing the point."

That is because there is usually not a point except inconsistent dribble. Take the last "national crisis" of the president appearing on a comedy show when nearly every president since Eisenhower has done the same.

But the real outrage is that the president was able to connect with an audience of young people to talk about ACA. The Right can stoop to any level including high jacking another party's website to divert campaign contributions, but every one else should play by some lofty rules.

Or the Russian invasion of Crimea. I guess they were emboldened by the Bush response when they invaded Georgia, but you guys "did not call Bush weak" (so said Robert Gates on FOX Sunday Show).

Or maybe the Russians took a page out of the Bush presidency when it invaded Iraq. You think?

What people get is the stench of hypocrisy.

No time left to respond to the other mistruths in this letter and it wouldn't make any difference.

Promise kept

The prez did say he was going to fundamentally transform America. And he surely is. The 2016 movie is unfolding before our eyes. But WE CAN TAJE THIS COUNTRY BACK. Vote dems out if office in November and we can start fixing this problem and get back on track. Compassionate conservatism is the way to go!!!

Leftist savory distractions,

Leftist savory distractions, bait and switch, the ignorant low information voter, class warfare, envy, finger pointing, and just plain old lying in general.

The biggest tragedy is that there are so many low information voters, some posing as being informed, that it is like fighting back a plague.

"God released the prince of darkness, and he delivered unto the world the low information voter to devour all and lay waste to the earth." Revelation Chapter 23; verse 1

"Fox News and other

"Fox News and other conservative, but balanced, news agencies " That says all you need to know right there. Anyone who believes Fox is balanced needs to put down the crayon and ask for an extra dose of meds.
Did it ever occur to you that was when the scam of the non social welfare organizations that called themselves Tea Parties started pouring in that were all 100% political organizations even though the tax code says "social welfare organization may engage in some political activities, so long as that is not its primary activity". I get at least 2 emails a day from the Tea Party Patriots. It's 100% political, 100% of the time, listing candidates they oppose and want to remove from office, and of course beg for money so Jenny Beth can make more money like she did to make her $700,000 she owed in back taxes go away. They're nothing but front groups for dark money and want to hide their donors. No group, whether Democrat or Republican should be able to hide who its donations are from. It's bad enough that the idiots claim that money is speech. Anonymous donations should be outlawed. If you're going to try to buy elections and influence, by God, have the guts to stand in the light of day and show it to everyone. Thta's why the Tea Party is throwing hissy fits. They don't want their donors revealed. They know they're nothing but astroturf groups. If the donors are exposed, their lies of "grassroots" are exposed. The IRS was doing their job, but not doing it well enough. It's just another in the long list of fale scandals car thief and arsonist Darrell Issa wastes time and taxpayer dollars on when he has no evidence and no intentions on letting the truth be revealed. He only wants his side of te story told even if he has to shut up his own witnesses, turn of the mic, adjourn the hearings, release edited information, and realease classified information. He should be rotting in jail for his previous crimes that he skated through.

Why won't Learner talk? How could she be protecting herself against self incrimination if there is no crime. That makes no sense....but defend the indefensible all you want. Nice one bod...from the person who on numerous occasions cites that FL had only 2% fail drug testing for food stamps, but never mentions that actual enrollment for food stamps dropped DRASTICALLY when the requirement for testing was initiated......I wonder why....could it be that they knew not to apply if they knew they would fail? Whatever the reason, the enrollment dropped at the exact same time as testing started......but Bod will never mention that because it doesn't fit his narrative.

How can Learner talk to the FBI and yet not talk to congress. When you refuse to answer then you refuse to answer. If I am involved in a crime I can't say I'll only talk to the police in Augusta I won't talk to the FBI under immunity. When she said she was innocent then pleaded the 5th she was out of bounds. Well the IRS investigation is being conducted by an Obamabot so we and Obama both know the results of the investigation before hand!

Gosh this is getting boring-the progressive always the same, the liberals always the same, the conservatives always the same, and the moderates always the same. It's pointless. Then every posit can be substantiated by publications on either side of an argument so the battle of publications and which is biased or valid goes on. If the argument doesn't work then the snide, condescending remarks and personal attacks. Who is not guilty cast the first stone=me too. I think I'm done-maybe well done.
