Narcissus had the distinction of pursuing gratification from the egotistic admiration of his own physical and mental attributes, giving him an arrogant pride. Hmm – sound familiar?
Combine the above qualities with a willful use of prevarication; an ability to ignore the Constitution when he deems it necessary; and a habitual need to blame someone else for his mistakes. That makes for a very scary package indeed.
