Bad law must be repealed

  • Follow Letters

We now know what President Obama meant by “transforming America” – it is that the liberal elite know what is best for all the rest of us, and their wishes will be instituted by force.

Obamacare mandates what the health care insurance companies must offer (counter to the private enterprise model), it mandates that U.S. citizens buy what is offered (directly opposite to an individual’s freedom of choice), and then uses the IRS to enforce the mandates.

Obama lied about this to get elected twice, and to get it passed in Congress. He is well on his way to establishing a liberal dictatorship overturning our democratic republic.

This law gives him and the secretary of Health and Human Services wide authority in deciding which elements of the law are to be enforced and on whom, without votes by Congress.

Implementation of this law must not only be delayed; the law must be repealed.

Let's lay this thing out there so everyone can understand it.

This Obamacare is being pushed on everyone as if there is a cable system with three levels each with 100 channels. All you have is the first 100 channels and you are happy with it.

Along comes Obama and tells you now you are going to get all 300 channels and your rates are going to triple.

You say you are happy with what you have and even if you got the additional 200 channels and you don't like the adult channels because watching pornography is against your religion and would watch only one additional channel if you had the additional channels.

Obama says "No. Everyone must have all 300 channels because I think the additional 200 are good for you. The rates have to go up because the poor people in East Augusta need 300 channels. Now, since they can't pay for them you are going to have to pay your fair share to help them out."

That is similar to what the obamacare bait and switch is like.

Actually it's more like people that don't have cable or a tv... and a no home with a single bathroom. Teapublicans have tried to repeal it over 40 times and the legality has been upheld each time. Perhaps teapublicans should try to work with democrats for once and MAKE it work. As for people losing insurance from their employers- that's on the employers themselves. They have gotten more and more greedy over the years and need to step up to the plate.

care already wants to come for an "in house evaluation" of services you may need. Not a substitute for a doctor visit. Then what?

Your analogy using cable is the best I've seen. I wish I'd see one of congressmen have the brains to use it when they openly debated Obamacare.

In case you haven't noticed, this law has already been implemented, to many people's benefit.

Show of hands, how many parents are glad they can help children on their healthcare or how many people with a 'pre-existing condition' as defined by insurance company sham want the law repealed?

Oh, and funny how I didn't hear the Publican piggies squeal when old Duh-Byah made his signing statements on what parts of laws he wasn't going to enforce/implement. I also didn't hear them squeal when we started hearing the reports of no WMDs, much less any of the other lies foisted off on the public by the Duh-Byahs.

BTW, you don't have to buy healthcare. Show some guts and opt out and pay the non-participants fee/stupidity tax. Just don't expect us to cover your bills when you discover you've cut off your frontal lobes to spite your face.
