Why was Paine College wasting time and money on a “hate crimes” seminar this month? Laws already are in place regarding murder, assault, harassment, etc.
Why do minority groups want a redundant law just for them?
All hate crime laws are redundant. Another ridiculous layer of law piled on by our liberal friends. Careful, the thought police are reading your posts... If the "progressives" had their way, merely having negative thoughts about others or their ideas would be criminal.
...but it's weally, weally bad if they are of a protected group and you aren't.
Does that make ANY sense?
Of course not, that's why liberals came up with the idea.
It isn't about equality any more. It's about "Special treatment".
Bulldog, if it is criminal to have negative thoughts about others then why aren't all progressives in prison?
We just want equal rights. Only some are more equal..oink oink
genitalia, but I don't hate him. Hate is just a word. Violence against fellow human beings is just a group of words.
black nail polish, black wigs, black underwear, blackened catfish, black top highways, black Sunday, etc. Let's eliminate black all together. Eliminate the cause of HATE.
All crimes against individuals are "hate" crimes. There is no actual need to peel more layers from that onion.
The concept is just another "progressive" diversion. Just one more weapon in their arsenal to confuse and confound the general public while they go about radicalizing and "fundamentally changing" the American landscape.
When the Founders included the phrase "defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic" in governmental oaths, this current crop of home-grown radicals is a prime example of their foresight.
Interesting though, is the fact that no crime against a conservative with an Anglo-Saxon Christian background can ever be considered in "hate" crime in the liberal/progressive/Democrat lexicon.
It seems that white Christians are the only group in America on which there is an open season for hate and discrimination.
don't have. Their board should hold them to fire and micromanage any expenditures that Pres and Brandon try to make!
Some of the Paine folks will call me a racist for some reason or another but I want them to succeed. Their financial management of late has caused them a lot of problems.
They will fall it they don't do a better job with finances.
I also loved to watch Boggs Academy down in Keysville. It was a great place started in 1906 as a place for blacks to have access to secondary education. It was sad when it was closed in 1984 because I'm sure it was a good educational experience for many.
