Obama thrown to wolves

  • Follow Letters

It was a surprise to feel that twinge of empathy as I watched a recent video of President Obama walk alone, head slightly bowed, to his Oval Office.

I was never a fan, but I have come to believe that he originally had a plan to help the poor in America. He was naïve, to say the least. I believe he had encountered racism in his life and hoped to make a “change.” His handlers wanted only to make history by having a black man become America’s president – albeit a man who was untried, inexperienced and uninformed. They chose him as a symbol: a symbol to show the world how unprejudiced we really were.

Obama was charismatic, liberal and confident. But he had no idea of how to be a president. Because of this major flaw, his liberal handlers threw Barack Obama to the Washington wolves. It was a waste of a good man.

"The Republican Party of today is a different breed altogether. The more you hear and read bout the elephant party, the more you want to change parties"

If the next Democratic candidate is Clinton or Biden, you may-as-well stay in The Republican Party!!

The more I see of the donkey

The more I see of the donkey party, the more I'm likely to stay where I'm at. They need to change their party emblem from a donkey to a lemming.

RedHeaded that's a good suggestion-that or a Hammer and Sickle would work too. hee, hee, hee. My bad. Rep could changes theirs to a three headed dog-Cereberus. They need to chop off a couple heads or learn to work with some unity.

@Bizkit

That's the truth! Cereberus is fitting as we're definitely heading towards Hades with the current crop in Washington! I'd say fire bomb them all and start over, but I don't think even that will work to get us back on track. Our poor kids and grandkids...

the only saving grace in all

the only saving grace in all of this is that the 'ship of state' is massive. An enormity that boggles the mind. This 'ship' is sailing forward. The amount of energy it takes to move the keel in one direction or another IS the secret to America's greatness. This President may 'push' the keel in a direction... one many of us embrace, but in reality, the 'ship' only moves in a 'slight' manner, considering its enormity. Republicans held sway for 8 years, now we will push the 'keel' in a different direction. Liberals may be a bit more messy than the conservatives, but as history has shown, they are the ones who have improved the lot of so many Americans, a creator of the middle class if you believe Unions at one time were an economic neccesity.

Well, at least he is not a

Well, at least he is not a Muslim____not today, anyway.
I never quite understood how a devout Muslim would spend 20 years in a Christian church.

By the way, why is it okay for Ted Cruz to run for president and the same circumstances, were they true, would render Obama ineligible? You know, born in a foreign country to an American mother. One set of rules for Dems; another set for Reps.

Just Think,

There are some on here that have the same feeling.......

Nancy Pelosi must be going a bit senile. Politico reports that she characterizes President Obama as almost saintly, and that she’s never, ever, in her 260 years in government, seen such opposition to a President by members of Congress. Oh, did I say 260 years? Sorry, it just feels that way. It was actually 26.

Striking a tone of disgust, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi ridicules the GOP as obsessed with its loathing of President Obama and hell-bent on hurting him politically, regardless the cost. She assigns little to no blame to the president (even though Democrats privately say that’s laughable) and instead portrays him as saintly, above reproach and the victim of jealousy or something worse.

After 26 years in the House, she says, “I haven’t seen anything like it. I haven’t seen anything like it.”

Who does she think she’s fooling. Does anyone remember the way the Democrats treated George Bush when he was president? To listen to them you would have thought he was Satan.

You may have had a pitiful steak named after you, but your pity for Obama is the heigth of bad taste. I think previous comment have covered the subject adequately.

"The more you hear and read bout the

elephant party, the more you want to change parties."

.
That's because we hear and read so many lies, so much liberal propaganda.

Hearing and reading tells us nothing. Particularly when we listen to and read sources that only reinforce our fixed beliefs. (For example, the recent lie by Kathleen Sebelius about reductions in Medicare spending.)

Examining, studying and evaluating will reveal the truth. Try it, it works every time.
