Scott Dean was railroaded

  • Follow Letters

Again it is obvious from the Georgia Court of Appeals decision that these judges and lawyers have the “good ol’ boy” policy of protecting their own. Former Columbia County Commissioner Scott Dean is not guilty of child molestation and never was – but they refuse to take corrective action and release this man, or at least give him a new trial in another jurisdiction.

The only reason he went on trial in the first place was politics, and not being willing to play the “good ol’ boy” system. If no one else will do anything, then maybe a petition could be initiated to be signed and sent to Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal.

This is a terrible injustice. Columbia County should be ashamed – and I live here.

A "good ol' boy" was not playing the

"good ol' boy" game. Give us a break. That same club gave political birth to and nursed this self avowed Superman. The same club protected him from his demons of lust until he just got "sloppy". Scottie became an embarrassment. But if there was not "evidence", he would still be at home. Have you been to court lately? For example, no evidence of rape equals no rape.

"Good ol' boy" system

What exactly does that mean in reference to Mr Dean's molestation conviction?
