Obama's response slow

  • Follow Letters

It is obvious that no one had any idea who was responsible for the April 15 bombings in Boston. Yet, did anyone notice that it took two hours before President Obama addressed the bombings?

When 9-11 occurred, President Bush was on all the stations talking about the disaster within minutes, and he talked without having to refer to any notes or use a teleprompter. Surprisingly, the press never commented on why there was no comment from the White House or the president for two hours. If President Bush waited that long, the press would be screaming for his blood. When President Obama finally spoke two-plus hours later, he had to read his comments. When bad news happens, President Obama has to wait until someone writes what he should say.

President Obama is a talking head and an empty suit.

Sorry Readers...

My previous post about the guns was meant for the "Solve gun-rights problem" I do not know how it ended up here.

Well karradur

I do give the zero the credit for being potus when the assassination of Osama occurred. I also give Bush credit for being potus when the groundwork was laid.

You did see the above where the FBI is denying the arrest.

Credit...blame game

Umm, Bush gets credit for laying the groundwork for killing BinLaden but no credit for putting the economy in the tank before leaving office. That is so interesting how some pick and choose who gets the blame and who gets the credit.

Truth Matters

Bush didn't put the economy in the tank. The Democrats did with their policies dictated to lenders. When they were told over and over what was going to happen, they refused to correct the problem. The Republicans didn't have the votes. By the way, Obama is again wanting to lend to people who are poor risks.

Back to the tanking of the economy. I am pretty sure the Dems took no action to protect the American people for selfish political reasons. They wanted to insure taking back the White House.

Yes indeed, the truth does matter.

Bush's greatest weakness..

was that he was not a true conservative. He wanted to be "liked" by liberals and thus gave in to them far too often.

He was a nice guy, but weak and wobbly on principles.

Angela, he never got veto power

Nope, it was put in place before he got elected. It started with Jimmy. Clinton expanded it. Bush could not veto anything because the warnings and objections never made it out of committee to the floor because of the Dem majority in committee. Warnings never made it out. Totally tabled.

I would agree. But he was not stupid like the left likes to claim. The really stupid one is our current potus. He is affirmative action and powerful donation bought in all the way. The proof is in the pudding. Records behind lock and key. What is he hiding? His real struggle at Ivy League schools, who paid for his education there, where he was perhaps a foreign student?

"But he was not stupid"

No, KSL, Bush was not genius but far from stupid. I know that he, Al Gore and the "war hero", John Kerry all released their college records. Bush had the higher average although none were academic stars.

I suspect, although we'll probably never know, that Bush's college transcripts would tower over Obama's as well.

But the way BHO is shielded and protected, those records will never see the light of day..

Can't have the myth dispelled. Pay NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN. I AM THE GREAT AND POWERFUL OzBAMA.
