City services won't answer

  • Follow Letters

Many people compare Augusta’s city government to North Augusta’s government. with North Augusta sounding so much better. Try to call a number in that monstrosity that houses North Augusta city services!

I have never gotten a person in that huge building to answer the phone. No matter when you call, they are always “away from their desk or helping another caller.” Where do they go when they are away?

I have never called 911 but I hope they will answer!

Responses from calls to N.A. City Hall

I don't call the "CITY GOVERNMENT MANTION" that often, but I am not surprised about this ! I just HOPE ABOVE ALL HOPES that The Aiken County Government nor The Aiken County School Board will vote for this "MONEY PIT NAMED PROJECT JACKSON !!"

Never???

Are you serious?? Maybe being just a tad overly dramatic?

Granted they are public servants and inherently slow on the uptake, but I've found that with some persistence, I can usually get what I need from them.
