Emergency handled superbly

I just wanted to give a big shout-out to the two deputies who came out to the Marlette Court call on the morning of March 22. Our longtime neighbor passed away, and they came and handled everything with grace, respect and dignity. Our neighbor was a veteran, and he would have been pleased with the way all involved – deputies, ambulance personnel, coroner and animal control – handled everything.

My husband and I wanted to say thanks to all for being so professional and patient. My apologies for not remembering their names, but they were kind and patient. I’m sure it can be a thankless job at times, but we thank you very much. God bless you all.

Yes, MOST of the time our public employees get it right. And we should remember that when our ELECTED officials connive and scheme to give themselves huge pay raises all while refusing their employees miniscule cost of living raises and force furloughs on them. And we should remember those certain members of our Commission who not only allow this situation but ACTUALLY ENCOURAGE the conniving and scheming to raise the salaries of the special people.
