So which party is 'stupid'?

  • Follow Letters

This is regarding Michael Ledo’s letter Feb. 13 (“GOP still ‘the stupid party’”) leveling allegations of Republican “stupidity” for the use of certain questionable terminology for various aspects of the Obama administration’s laundry list of misguided policies.

It has been shown that a significant number of Obama voters are, and have been for some time, dismayed at the course the country has taken, but see no connection whatsoever with that course and the policies of the present administration. Would Mr. Ledo care to redefine “stupidity”?

Mr. Bedell, very well said indeed. The public schools have been dumbing down the kids for the last 30 yrs. and it is paying off for the democrats.

Let's see......"we've have to

Let's see......"we've have to pass the bill to find out what's in it".......and......."we need a balanced approach" but Obama has not cut the first nickel of spending while demanding the second tax increase in two months. How about...."yes, we got the cables from Benghazi and did nothing, but what does that matter now?"And the best one....."we don't have a spending problem".

Now, which is the stupid party? No, the better question is, who are the stupid voters?

“Are all the Libs and Demos out looking for jobs or something?”
bubba, I doubt it. They probably heard somebody was giving something away. I saw a sign in Aiken last week that said ‘free cell phones here’.

Nothing stuped about the GOP.....

They continually lead the way with ideas and solutions to some of this country's most difficult problems.

No, the GOP suffers from problems of the backbone. THEY DON'T HAVE ONE. They would rather give in to liberal pressure and threats than force the issue, thinking they might lose an election for being seen as obstructionists.

After giving up their principles, THEN they lose elections for being seen as weak.

Maybe that does make them stupid.
