Call tax what it is

  • Follow Letters

As conservatives, we should stop allowing the liberal media in general, and Obama sycophants in particular, to use the words “Bush tax cuts.”

They are, and have been for more than 10 years now, the current tax rates. If the current tax rates are allowed to phase out on Jan. 1, we should call them what they are in actuality – proposed Obama tax increases.

To America’s “friends” on the left: These rates will increase, and not only on your hated “rich” – they will increase on everyone who pays. Are you guys cool with that? Really?

To my conservative friends: Make the words “Obama tax increase” part of your daily use when dealing with liberals, because if he’s re-elected, that’s what they will be.

Let's make it the

Let's make it the Obama/Democrat tax increase. Let's not forget the role the Democrat controlled Senate has had in the disaster of the last 4 years. We can begin with Obamacare, 3 years of no budget, and now the Obama/Democrat tax increase. Harry Reid should be impeached for his refusal to allow votes on legislation and for breaking the law by not passing an annual budget.
