Vote Echols for District 7

  • Follow Letters

Please join me in supporting Kenny Echols to represent District 7 on the Augusta Commission.

There is a saying in business to always hire the best-qualified person for the job. That is applicable for politics as well.

Kenny Echols has a proven record serving west Augusta for 12 years on the Richmond County Board of Education, as well as 10 years on the Richmond County Board of Health. His commitment to our community and to our children’s education; a successful career; and devotion to his family are just a few of his many attributes.

Now that Kenny has retired as an administrator at Georgia Health Sciences University, he is able to devote the extraordinary amount of time it takes to be an active and effective commissioner.

You can learn more about Kenny’s qualifications and what he wants to accomplish on the Augusta Commission by going to his website, www.ElectEchols.com, or by calling him at his home.

During early voting or on Election Day – Tuesday, Nov. 6 – I ask that the citizens in District 7 go to the polls and vote for Kenny Echols, one of the finest individuals I have ever known.

A vote for Kenny Echols is a vote to put the best qualified person in our commission seat.

not impair his attendance at "regular commission meetings". He has my vote. This was his first major hurdle. 1) Being there when you are paid to be there and you promised your constituents you would represent them in commission meetings. A lot of "real world jobs" only require that you be at the work site. Hey, now school only requires that you be in attendance.

I don't think so

He's old, tired, and stale. He would fit right in with the current commission, and that's reason enough to vote for the other guy, Donnie Smith.

You must be joking

Kenny Echols is the most important candidate we have had in years to help with the finances of this city. What do we know about Mr. Smith: He's a pawn of the downtown crowd. He does not hesitate to use his badge to influence & interfere with police business, OMG Wild Wings was enough for me.
