Is it Obama-Azziz in 2012?

  • Follow Letters

From Charlotte, N.C., at the Democratic National Convention, President Obama announced his replacement for Joe Biden as his 2012 vice-presidential running mate – Georgia Health Sciences University President Ricardo Azziz. The new 2012 DNC bumper sticker will read “Obama-Azziz: For Change, Whose Kingdom Will Reign Forever and Ever!”

In the wake of Azziz’s role of pushing the name “Georgia Regents University” as the unpopular name of the combined GHSU and Augusta State University, Obama and the Democratic National Committee announced that Azziz far exceeded every character qualification, and cleaved to Obama’s 10 commandments:

• must be as near a character clone of Obama as possible;

• must reside in a Southern state, enhancing Obama’s potential to capture Southern electoral votes;

• must believe, support and desire concepts such as his own sovereignty, dictatorship, control, dominance and omnipotence;

• must believe, support and desire a radical, liberal, socialistic agenda and a twisted, evil, George Soros-orchestrated philosophy;

• must possess a huge, unlimited ego, capable of believing he is ever-increasing his own importance, status and affluence; prior experience as a “hatchet man” is most desirable;

• must be arrogant and self-serving, and live by the rule of the love of power rather than the power of love;

• must not be loyal, honest, trustworthy, compromising, truthful or respectful of the citizens;

• must not consider the feelings, wishes, opinions, concerns, desires or future of citizens;

• must not be concerned about honoring or respecting local history, traditions, values, communities, businesses or organizations;

• must flagrantly ignore, disrespect and disregard the first three words of the U.S. Constitution – “we the people” – and instead focus all attention and efforts on himself.

I see that you're missing the convention this week, Mr. Thweatt. Guess you're too busy writing letters.

Wow, most of those character building traits

apply to all of our local public servants. Looks like we are "on target" for government representation. Don't worry, it is all under control. Worry, you do not know who is the control.

Amusing

Most amusing, and it's all true! I wouldn't worry too much. Obama is not going to win the election so it really doesn't matter.

Asinine is too kind

"sovereignty, dictatorship, control, dominance and omnipotence"

what a ridiculous waste of column inches/bandwidth. i don't know whether to laugh or cry. it is sad that some folk really think this president is a mortal enemy of freedom. the right wing have pitted us against eachother while they have set themselves apart and smugly look down upon those they believe ignorant and easily manipulated.
