There certainly must not have been any people on the committee who chose the final names who knew anything about marketing. Oh, possibly they were marketers of politicians. To create such a negative atmosphere over something as important as a new university name can only help the school.
Really? Georgia Health Sciences University President Ricardo Azziz is right. It will take 10 to 20 years to get over the name change and get used to it.
I wish the people who love this new name would speak up. I would love to hear why you like the name.
